Dark Matter Does Exist As Real As The Universe Itself

In the article titled: “After Higgs, Ramped-Up Collider Hunts for Next Puzzle” published on Live Science – June 16, 2015 –, Dr. Don Lincoln wrote:
“It's not like we don't have mysteries in the world of physics. From our observation of galaxies, we know that they rotate faster than can be explained by the known laws of gravity and the matter we can detect. To explain that mystery, we invented an unobserved form of matter called dark matter. The fundamental nature of dark matter is certainly a big mystery.”
AN INEVITABLE EXISTENCE
As far as I know, Dark Matter isn’t a product of human’s imagination. It does exist and is as real as the Universe itself.
Imagine you’re a physicist sitting in a theater watching a magician perform a trick where he flies through the air. He goes up and down over the stage, sometimes as high as the roof, hovering over a stunned audience. It's impressive to watch and would surely make you heartily applaud along with the rest of the crowd at this amazing feat. But, unlike the majority of the audience, you KNOW the magician is attached to strings, harness or some kind of supporting device, for this spectacular flight.
The magician’s supporting devise is invisible to you as it should be. And for the rest of your life, you may never chance to “see it, feel it, smell it, hear it, taste it, or, in fact, by any means, directly detect it…” (Paul Stowe) but it exists in every magician’s flying show. The laws of physics and logic that you know and understand oblige you to accept it as fact.
When Einstein presented his Theory of Gravity, stating that mass with its presence and movement affects “space and time” creating gravity, an unknown physicist immediately remarked: “This theory proves the existence of Dark Matter”.
It seems Dr. Unk., quickly detecting the flaw in the definition of Einstein’s theory, had jumped in to rescue by replacing space-time with DM whose physical existence provides the vital link that helps Einstein’s Gravity-creating-system work.
By saying “proves the existence…” it implies that scientists had researched, debated, tested the existence of DM, probably way before the day Dr. Unk. found in Einstein’s theory a solid evidence confirming its presence. They observed the Universe; found in space many activities, phenomena that absolutely required the physical presence of “something”. ” What causes stars, planets, galaxies to move and "float" in space? What keeps the universe from collapsing and expanding instead, etc...?
You can’t see or obtain direct evidence showing the existence of DM or the magician’s supporting device. But the circumstantial evidence of their “absence” or “non- existence” may appear immediately in front of your eyes.
Without strings, the magician cannot “fly”. If they broke, he would fall. If DM (or whatever you want to call it) disappeared from the universe, all the things it affects - gravity, inertia, the movements of planets and stars - would no longer exist. The universe would collapse.
But if the strings break and DM disappears into oblivion, but NOTHING happens, then the laws of physics we've come to understand and accept would be in trouble. The base of our physical logic, thinking, judging ... would immediately collapse.
The physicist in the theater doesn’t “invent” the magician’s supporting device. He just acknowledges its existence. The illusionists invented it.
In the case of DM, the scientists also invent nothing; just acknowledge its existence or discover its presence to fill the gap left by a missing link in the human’s chain of physically logical observations and judgments.
DM is nobody’s invention – as Dr. Lincoln wrongly thought.
It’s one of the creations that builds and expands our universe. It exists and has occupied the very first opening space from the beginning of time.
